Twenty books

I am selecting 20 adults. You send one book idea and an author photo. I run that idea through Novelmate Studio under my direction, and I hand you a finished manuscript you own.

When it opens

This offer is paused for about one to two weeks. Target open is Tuesday, October 14, 2026, at 8 in the morning, Edmonton time. The form stays closed until then. You can read the rules now and prepare an idea. Do not send an application yet.

Who can send an idea

You are 18 or older.
One book per person.
I choose the 20. It is not a race, and it is not a public vote.
When 20 people are chosen, the offer closes.

What you send

Your name, or the author name you want on the book.
An email I can reply to.
The idea, in a short paragraph.
Any tone or genre notes you care about.
A photo of you that you have the right to use. Clear enough to put in the front of the book.

What you get

The manuscript in Markdown, EPUB, and DOCX.
Your photo in the front matter.
Ordinary front matter and back matter.
A short note that you own the finished files.

What this offer does not include

An illustrated cover.
An ISBN.
Help publishing or selling the book.
A print copy or an audiobook.
More creative rewrites after delivery. If the pipeline introduces a clear factual error, I will correct that. I will not keep rewriting the book.

How long it takes

Several weeks, in batches of 3 to 5. Not a few days. Novelmate Studio is still in the workshop. You do not have to buy it. This is a demonstration with a person directing the work. There is no promise of sales, rankings, or a publishing deal.

Ownership

When I deliver the files, you own that manuscript. You may publish it, sell it, change it, or give it away. I may say that this offer happened. I will not name you in public unless you say I can. Your photo is for your book, and for any later use you agree to in writing.

After you send it

I write to the people I choose, with the timing and a yes I need back before I start. If I do not choose your idea, I send a short thank you once the 20 spots are filled.

I keep your note, your email, and your photo so I can make the book and remember what we agreed. I do not put them on the site.
